It feels so good to be back in the swing of things here at school/home. I loved seeing everyone (or y'all, for tyson's sake!)back at my place, just like old times :), but i really like being away from home doing my own thang! By the way, thanks for everyone that came I had a blast and i hope y'all did too! (hehe somebody left half a case of keystone light in my pantry that my parents found, yet they still think that i didn't have a party, go figure!)
This week was quite hectic and its only going to get worse. My chem teacher moved up the quiz that we always take on mondays and it threw my whole routine off. Oh well its done and i must move on. Pep band has will keep me busy as we have a game saturday and tuesday. Then the boys are heading to unl next saturday (i'm going so look for me in the group with the blue shirts!) and we are going to beat you guys, just to let you know (wonk! hehe).
Tonight i was suppose to babysit my cousins but that fell though because they both were running temperatures (it's sad b/c they seem to get sick more than me, and thats never fun with little kids :( ) So instead Katie and i went to walmart and went crazy. I think we both just needed a break from studying and just needed to leave campus. By the way there is a bunch of girls who pitched a tent out in front of our dorm. Not the smartest thing a) because its freakin cold out and b) we aren't exactly in the best part of Omaha. Me and katie thought that they just had a bunch of alcohol that was keeping them warm and they were afraid they couldn't get it inside. Anyways...at walmart i got some secret santa gifts, new shoes, and groceries (more importantly stuff to make puppy chow!). I'm so excited about my shoes! I had to get a pair of dressier shoes for our concert sunday (which i am not excited about..grrr). I finally bought a pair of pointy black shoes, and they even have a cute strap thing in the back, plus the heal isn't too high so i don't die. Yay, we made the best darn puppy chow too and watched Road to Perdition which was really good!
My family, including grandparents, are coming up on Sunday for my concert which could be a good time, too bad the concert will suck (ok gospel choir is going to rock, but the others well i don't feel like talking much about them, ok so its more like if you don't have something nice to say don't say it at all kinda thing) Its sad to say that this is the first concert i have ever not wanted to do, i even liked performing better in middle school choir with mrs. cook. Whatever it will all be over on Sunday! Praise the Lord!
Today for work study we put up lights in the exercise science department. It looks very festive and it made me feel good! Then I met this guy who is from the Ukraine. We had a lovely chat. Random, sorry!
Have a great weekend!
