Happily, I am already seeing improvement with my itchy toe situation. That is such a relief. Itching can really drive a person to the edge of insanity.
I don't know if I mentioned it...I don't think so... my sister's skin cancer surgery was moved up to last week. They removed the place and did a skin graft from her ear to cover up the area. She sent a picture of it the first day and it actually looks really good...but of course that is my opinion. She was crying and upset over how it looked. I think she was just not sure what to expect and she did admit later that part of her panic was that when she took off the bandage that it somehow separated and so she thought she was peeling off the skin graft rather than the bandage. I thought that was kind of funny, but of course only to ME! It's totally different when you are the one experiencing that! But if they made skin grafts that would peel off like a sticker, there would be a lot of people in trouble! Haha poor sister.
It has been raining here off and on today. It's starting to clear out now but it sure was nice while it lasted. I love rainy days.
My nephew has a new girlfriend. She seems so funny. I've never met her in person yet, but she friended me on Facebook. I was able to see some pictures she posted of a date that they went on and some things like that. Last night she started messaging me and it went back and forth for quite awhile-she was just chatting. Cute girl. She is pretty much the total opposite of everything his last girlfriend was, and seems to be much better for him. The other girl was sweet when I was around her, but she had a LOT of things she deals with in her life and the two of them together didn't seem to mix well-I think she was looking for him to save her and that is a heavy thing for a 17-18 year old kid to deal with. He seems much more balanced with this girl. Anyway, it was fun to chat with her and funny to me that she even wants to talk to the aunt she hasn't met. It also sounds kind of weird now that I type it out, but really it just seems that she is a super social girl and likes to know people. Anyway, it didn't seem or feel weird to talk to her.
