Yes. So true. Thank you for writing about this. I often feel medicated for superficial happiness. My maternity leave was hell due to post-partum depression combined with regular depression. I couldn't enjoy my beautiful baby because I was so afraid and angry.

I've really missed you, Carrie--it's good seeing you again. :) I always keep you and your family in my prayers. Can you believe I have a 21 yr old? He wants to go in to Seminary. WOW! I enjoyed reading about your boys recently, too. I'd love to see them. In case you would like to see mine ---> http://heyurs.livejournal.com/1057965.html

This is a great post. Thank you for sharing and hopefully encouraging others to feel good about themselves and realize that YOU are ultimately responsible for YOUR own inner peace, and how you do it is no one else's business, especially since it doesn't affect them. ♥

Plus, just how many have that amazing red hair that you do! *huge grin* x)

Take care! *hugs*
Urs

Carrie, thank you for reading this. I was crippled by post-partum depression after I had my first child. Of course, I was in total denial no matter what anyone who loved me said. I mean, I didn't leave the house along for eight months and that should have told me something...

*hugs you tightly* I miss you.
