Ohhhhhh, I just love that it was Southern Living -- that paragon of decorating for anything -- that you used to swipe the wasps that were in your decorations. Love love love.

Also, that apple bread pudding in the October issue? Yeah, I'm gonna have to make that (I too have a subscription). :D

But seriously, that sounds like me and mice. I know they're out there. I live in a city, this is an old house, whatever. We can live in harmony as long as I don't have to see/hear/touch/smell/look at them in my space. If that happens, I am going Urban Hunter on their little rodent rears.

I have a mouse that lives on the back porch and torments the dog. She freaks out, but as long as he stays OUTSIDE, I'm cool with him. Woe be to his little self if he ever manages to make it to the interior of the house.

And then I waited two days, after having Nolan check the silly tub out on the porch, then I brought it back in, and THERE WAS ANOTHER BEE.

I just decided I didn't need Fall decor this year. To heck with it.
