Intermission
This is me.
I'm simply and wholly overwhelmed with the staggering amount of STUFF I have to do - to the point that I've gone into shutdown mode. Does anyone else do this? I'm sure the presents will get wrapped and the cookies baked. I feel confident that the laundry will get done and the bills will get paid. But for right now, I'm going to spend the next hour by the fire while watching the snow fall outside my window. I'm going to take a break from all the madness of this season to remember what it's really all about in the first place. Maybe then after I recharge, I'll have the attitude I'm supposed to have during this time of the year.
