April's Winner and May's Contest!
Wow. I had some great entries for the Angsty April Fic Fest.
rose_in_texas wrote a Supernatural that had character death, but OH, my word. If you're a fan of the show, you need to read this. So good. And eustacia_vye28 wrote a heart-wrenching Firely fic with River/Jayne. Filia_umbrae came in with a last minute Temperance Brennan is an idiot for not laying Booth on her desk and snogging him silly and instead cries about it at night fic. I loved it, truly. Bones and I? Not seeing eye to eye right now. Especially after she said she didn't like one of my favorite bands on Thursday. *grumps*
Sorry. Got off topic. Again. Anyhow, the winner this month is leigh_adams, who came in with a heartbreaking Fleur/Cedric/(Bill) story that made me teary. Congratulations to you, Leigh, and a huge thanks to everyone who entered. I loved them all. I might need your address, Leigh, and what scents you prefer, floral/fruity/musk... etc. :)
MAY'S Contest! I've thought about it, and I think this month will involve individual prompts for all those who want to enter. For example, if you want to write R/P, I might give the prompt: "Perfume." The winner of May's contest will win a $15 gift certificate to itunes. Or if you think itunes is in league with the devil, then Best Buy, whichever you prefer. I'll open it up to all pairings from whatever fandom tickles your fancy. I like a good read, so it really matters little what pairing it is. So come on! If you've never entered, May's your month! Take the plunge!
