A Tale of the Boy Who Cried Wolf

So I sat down this evening and told Kennis the tale of the Boy Who Cried Wolf.
"There was a boy who watched sheep. That was his job, to watch the sheep on top of the hill overlooking his village. He had to do it all day, every day. One day when he got really bored and decided to play a mean trick on the people who lived in his village. So he yelled out, "Help, help! The Wolf is here, the Wolf is here". The people ran out of their houses, picked up big sticks and big stones and ran up the hill. When they got to the top, they saw the boy, they saw the sheep, but they saw no wolf. They got angry with the boy and told him that he'd played a mean trick and went home, put away their big sticks and their big stones and carried on with their lives. The boy couldn't stop laughing and he laughed and laughed long after they went home.

The next day, when he got really bored again, he decided to play a mean trick on the people who lived in his village. So he yelled out, "Help, help! The Wolf is here, the Wolf is here". The people ran out of their houses, picked up big sticks and big stones and ran up the hill. When they got to the top, they saw the boy, they saw the sheep, but they saw no wolf. They got very angry with the boy and told him that he'd played a mean trick and went home, put away their big sticks and their big stones and carried on with their lives. The boy laughed and laughed long after they went home.

The next day, when he got really bored again, he decided to play a mean trick on the people who lived in his village. So he yelled out, Kennis interrupted me here and yelled out for me "Help, help! The Wolf is here, the Wolf is here". The people ran out of their houses, picked up big sticks and big stones and ran up the hill. When they got to the top, they saw the boy, they saw the sheep, Kennis interrupted me here and yelled out "but they saw no wolf". They got very, very angry with the boy and and stomped their feet. They warned him against telling lies like that again and went home, put away their big sticks and their big stones and carried on with their lives. The boy laughed and laughed long after they went home.

That night, the wolf came for real and the boy yelled Kennis interrupted me again and yelled out "Help, help! The Wolf is here, the Wolf is here". But the people stayed home, they didn't pick up their big sticks and big stones and didn't run up the hill. The wolf took one of the sheep and dragged it away and the boy yelled, Kennis again, "Help, help! The Wolf is here, the Wolf is here". But the people stayed home, they didn't pick up their big sticks and big stones and didn't run up the hill. The wolf ate all the sheep, so now the boy had no more sheep to watch.

Shane: Do you know what the morale of the story was?
Kennis: Yes
Shane: So what is it?
Kennis: That sometimes you have to do it yourself?
Shane: No, what happened to the boy after all the sheep were gone?
Kennis: He can do whatever he wants to?
Shane: If you lie, people won't believe you and they won't bring their big rocks and big sticks to help.
Kennis: Why didn't he throw the rocks and sticks himself?

Shane: ... Hey where's your hat? (bluff check DC 32, rolls a 35)
Kennis: On the seat next to me.
Shane: Where's your gloves? Why aren't you wearing them? (bluff check DC 25, rolls a 31)
Kennis: Because they're in my hat silly?
Shane: Want to hear some music? (bluff check DC 17, rolls a 36)
Kennis: Yay!!!
Shane: (under his breath) That was close, you have got to be kidding me.
