Pool
Went to a car wash to raise money for our pool. Sorry band!
Washed a few cars before going to 7-11. Then stood in the median with a sign while trying to hide my slurpee. Decided that wasn't working so well, those drivers were in no position to go to the wash. So stood at one of the exits to the Freshfields parking lot area. Mariam came over, and she started yelling at cars like crazy. "Your car is dirty!" "Grocery shopping, car wash, the perfect combination!" She's a funny one. Was out there for a couple hours. Made a stop at Freshfields for samosas and starbucks for a frap at some point. Wow, it drained me, and it wasn't even really hot. But we made about $700, which is great.
Then went to the pool. Was signed up to work from 4-8. My dad invited the swim team I swim with year round to have a fun swim meet at the pool. Which means it wasn't very organized at all. So I had to guard and swim at the same time. Fun fun. Ended up swimming in 4 events. Beat Dave and Pascal in backstroke, which was nice. Swam a 50 freestyle, which was also fun. Breast wasnt quite as fun, although I really coundn't expect to beat my amazing time I got at divisionals.
And I'm tired now. And listening to Boys of Summer.
