It's what I've been telling humans for ages, boyo. It's what you can relate most to, since your literature is practically peppered with them.

I'm a jötunn, which roughly translates to 'giant' - or if you're feeling peckish, man-eaters - in your languages. Frost giant because I was born in Niflheimr - the northern part of our world.

And really, you expect me to keep the form of a hideous giant with, say, five heads? I need to keep up appearances!

What exactly have you been telling people? There probably is a limit within all languages to accurately translate just what you are, in the meaning your own tongue. ...Yeah, 'man-eater' would probably scare a lot more people than just 'giant'.
