Anyway.
What's the point of studying ancient cultures we know barely anything about? Everytime I read anything about Babylonian culture, it's either "this is so alien we really don't understand what the hell it's talking about" or "we would be able to get it but half of the text is missing." I can understand if we could say "Oh, this is where our culture comes from so we are learning about the beginnings of humanity," but we're not. It's as I said-so much information is missing and/or totally alien to us that we don't really learn anything.
