Well I just recieved interesting news last night. My dad the other day had some polyps removed from his colon. A simple procedure they stick a camera with a laser on it and go through your butt up through the intenstines till the find the polyps and burn them off basically. There were three polyps two that were small enough to remove and one that was to big. The small ones were found to be benign so they are not cancerous. However, he has to go in for surgery for the final polyp to be removed because it was to large.

There are two differnt kinds of procedures to remove the polyp one requires that they cut you open and remove the section with the polyp and then just attach your intestines together. The other procedure is they make to little holes above and below your belly button and use bigger/better lasers to sew and remove the polyp. The first procedure could result in my dad taking months to fully heal. The second could literally just be weeks. I'm worried for my dad because he hasn't and isn't in the best of health. He smokes, chews. His diet isn't to awful though. But he only eats like one meal a day. The other good thing he does is walk about 4 miles a day. Which is awesome he lost like 30 pounds.

To me thats encouraging. Because I'm devoted to losing body fat. Well thats the update for this week. Kind of depressing news along with the weather. Though today is looking pretty sunny.

I'm hoping to go out tonight with David, Bevin, Evan and who ever else is coming. I'm going to go see Pirates again but with my dad this time. He really wants to see it. I think its funny he has moments in his life when he's like a big kid. Like they say you might grow older but you don't have to act older.

I sent two applications and resumes to the state of nevada for a Development Specialist position and a Family Specialist position. They are they only two positions I found that don't require me to have some sort of endorsement. However, there is of course a TEST.. :O

So we will see what happens there. Of course all state jobs take forever to get hired to. But both of these jobs pay well. Over 30,000 a year which is a big plus. Considering that 24,000 is rough to live on. Even as a single person.

Some other sad news. One of my neighbors who is, for lack of a better word, retarded got raped and beat up the other day. I found this out from my landlord. Its sad because he's a nice guy that always talks to you about his faith. Also I have some other neighbors that freak me out too. They stare at me when i get in my car and leave. Its creepy.

I've managed to increase my workouts to almost an hour now. I've added jogging. Though I really want to get into the habit of cross training by jump roping and riding a bike. However, I don't have a bike so that makes cross training a little more difficult. I should have my pilates and yoga tapes next week which I'm excited to start adding those to my daily workout regiment.

My goal is to have a flat stomach and/or six pack by Jill's wedding next year. Its a lofty goal but one that isn't impossilbe to achieve. It'll just be harder for me because I have genetics against me. Anyone, else notice that I write long blogs. OY!

Some last minute thoughts. Lauren and Mike have an awesome time at Van's Warped Tour. Jill see you tomorrow. Evan, David, Erin, hopefully see you tonight.
