Hello Livejournal!

Long time, no talk.

so. a few new things-

*I'm semi-declared as a Women's Studies major. The paperwork never went through... simply because it's Women's Studies. They're very much like "woooooo traaalalala look at these flowers, oooh hey paperwork, i'll get to you eventually if i don't lose you." I have no idea what the fuck I'll do with that major, but I'll figure that out later.
*I was interviewed on channel 9 news! They were stopping people outside of the dining hall asking where everyone was going for Spring Break... My friend Sara and I told the lady about how we're going to Louisiana with Habitat to build houses and such. I'm pretty much a huge deal 'round these parts.
*I am taking a review of French and it is kicking my ass
*My mom is still dating a total creepster and is going to get fucked over eventually.
*Carly is in London for the semester and that SUCKS. I honestly feel like a part of me is missing.
*I've started taking classes at the gym! It's really cool to feel how my body works.
*I'm returning as an RA next year in the same hall. I'm really excited, but also nervous.

aaaaaaaaaaand. Boyfriend.

I haven't been happy since we started dating. Really simply put... I haven't felt valued, prioritized, appreciated, or cared for at all by him. He has a temper and a history of depression so I'm constantly worried that he's upset with me or something. I finally got super super sick of feeling incredibly sad all the time and talked to him about it. It was really complicated and shitty, but things are okay now. Apparently he's going to put more effort into not being a jerk, and I'm going to work on trusting him- that he'll tell me if/when he is upset. It'll be hard, but that's okay.
This discussion ended with me telling him to contact me when he was ready. We spoke a few hours later, and it was okay. Today we had lunch with a few others and it was wonderful. I really really hope this continues.

I have a LOT of work to do, so I'm going to go do that. peas and carrots.
