Picture teaser post, shoot #5, "Pipe Dream". Not the best shots from the shoot last night, but some good ones--as per usual, you'll have to wait for
the gallery opening to see the best. Man, I am getting really predictable here. :/
My subjects were Chess [
copperpot] and Rach [
madbluenimbus], out for a stroll. Willow [
willowperson] played grip and chauffeur.
Chess, Rach, Willow, and I drove out to Unionville to take pictures under this railroad trestle, by a lake. Chess and Rach explored the infrastructure and infiltrated the premises. Yes, Chess climbed all the way up there in a godforsaken RUBBER SKIRT. Dude.
Rach is simply an exquisite model. She has this scattering of freckles across her shoulders that is unspeakably sexy. I loved watching her morph from "cutie pie" to "smoldering" right before my lens. Notice the antique keys we hung from the rings in her braids.
Probably one of my favorite images from the shoot, taken as per Chess' suggestion. It's a bit dark, but certainly epic. It is quite clear that both Chess and I have been listening to way too much Smashing Pumpkins recently. :D

Thank you.
Oh, and just let me whine for a (long) moment about yesterday's conditions.
Not only was it over 90 F outside again, the insects in the area we were shooting were friggin' BASTARDS. Willow was swatting flies off my back that were the size of CHICKENS. And those bitches bite, and hard. Yeah, and whilst I was shooting across the street under the tracks, a redneck though it would be hilarious to zip past me in a truck at a distance where I could have torn off his mirror with my teeth. Between the death threats, heat, horseflies, the swarms of gnats, the sticky and pokey plantlife, and oh, the fact that I'm acrophobic and the trestle was way up a steep and rocky slope...FAIL. Mason jars of fail. Mop buckets of fail. Bloody beer keg of fail. I'm really rather surprised at how well the pictures came out, though I had (once again) the most patient crew ever. I owe everyone, big time.
