If there's one good thing about the Mansion, in Will's opinion, it's that there's an unlimited supply of coffee. He's sitting in the common room right now, brewing some in a pot over the fire. The smell's wafting down the hallway and probably into some of the adjacent rooms, as well. Usually, he prefers to build a campfire and sit outside somewhere

Here are some twins who don't know much about coffee, but could well be talked into having some. Elured and Elurin pause by Will's spot, and smile, and wave.

"Hiya there, what's that smell?"

Their tone isn't judging, just curious.

Will's grin is a bit more enthusiastic than is strictly necessary. He really really likes coffee.

"It's the coffee."

Blink blink, the boys do not know what this coffee thing is, that you speak of.

"Coffee? What's that?" asks Elured.

"This," Will says, pointing to the steaming pot. "A drink brewed from roasted beans," he adds, helpfully.

Now, that sounds incredibly odd to Elured and Elurin.

A beat.

Joint stares.

".... roasted beans?"

"Ground and infused with hot water," Will says, then raises an eyebrow slightly. "Would you like to try some?"

Pause. Blink. "Hm... well..." they want to say no, thank you, but it's not polite.

So Elured finally speaks up.

"Oh, hm, thank you, yes."

Will grins. "It's a good thing there's still some left." Because he could absolutely drink an entire pot of coffee on his own. In one sitting. "There's a couple of cups on that table over there," he adds, because this is the Mansion and so things are always conveniently lying around when you need them.

"Oh, thanks," Elured says slowly. Elurin in the meantime will wander over to the table and get cups, and once both boys are served, one of them goes... "... sour."

Oops.

Hmmm how about we go on just a bit, then handwave small talk?

Will doesn't mind. He smiles, actually. "It is a bit sour, isn't it? It's better with honey," he says, with a small gesture towards the pot of honey he used to (very liberally) sweeten his own coffee.

"With honey?" The twins look vaguely confused, but they're diligently polite, too, so they'll give it a shot.

"Ah, better, aye," one of them says. "... so... you have this in your homeland?"

Will nods. "It's mostly imported from Arrida." He can't help smiling. "But I suppose you probably don't know where that is."
