If there's one good thing about the Mansion, in Will's opinion, it's that there's an unlimited supply of coffee. He's sitting in the common room right now, brewing some in a pot over the fire. The smell's wafting down the hallway and probably into some of the adjacent rooms, as well. Usually, he prefers to build a campfire and sit outside somewhere

If there's coffee brewing, Viv is there, pregnant or not. One cup won't likely hurt the twins, and she needs it, to get past the dragginess that the hormones are causing.

She'll be peering at him, a little hopefully. "Hey, hope you don't mind, but I could smell that all the way up the stairs."

Will smiles at her. He's halfway through a cup of coffee, at this point. "Then it's a good thing there's still some left."

She chuckles. "I was gonna ask if there was any left: Haven't had my morning cup," she says, stepping into the room and finding herself a mug. "I'm Vivien Harmon."

Despite his low mood, Will can't help grinning. "It's just because I haven't had a chance to drink it all yet. I'm Will."

"Nice to meet you," she says, pouring herself a cup, then finding some Splenda in the cupboard and shaking some into her cup. "So... are you some kind of hunter who lives here?" she asks, eying his clothing a little curiously.

Will raises one eyebrow slightly. "I don't know that I'd say that. I don't go hunting that often."

He might, occasionally, if he was really bored. The plothole kind of eliminates the need to hunt for food.

"Hope I didn't...cross any lines: I'm still finding my way around this place and getting to know the folk who live here," she says. "There's so many folks from all over the place here."

"You didn't. It's fine," Will says, smiling easily. "I haven't even heard of most of the places people here say they come from," he adds.

"Yeah, some of them I thought existed only in stories, which kinda made me wonder at first. But I guess those stories have to come from somewhere," she says, warming her hands on her cup.

"You're one step ahead of me, then," Will says. "I'd never heard of any of the people here. Until I met them, I mean."

She smiles at this. "That's a good way to look at it," she says. "I thought it first it meant I was dreaming or...I'd lost my grip on reality. But I've been reassured it's all very real."

Will can't help smiling wryly at that. "I think everybody here's suspected that, at some point."

"Yeah, I don't remember a dream ever going on this long, or being this vivid: I don't remember smelling, much less tasting coffee like this in a dream," she says. "You'd think it would be something big that would make you realize that it's not a dream, but it's the little things."

"It happens like that," Will agrees. "I don't think I could have come up with things like boxes that keep your food cold and magic cupboards, even if I was dreaming."
