[Introduction] Voices from Double Lips
Harumi's entire way of life was being taken away inch by inch by a person that should have went away when told to. She was generous, allowing Maria to party and cavort all night as a call girl. As long as she never intruded into the day, vice versa for Maria's wild night life. They both shared a home, why come into conflict? Until he proposed. Maria was smart, she knew couldn't be around Harumi's future husband. At least, that's what the future bride thought. She wanted no trouble, Maria was supposed to go away, and go quietly.
That was a truly stupid idea, of course Maria was going to fight back. Before Harumi knew it, she was dragging her out on the street, yelling and screaming at her.
"Please stop it!"
"Shut up and move your ass! You just come in and expect me to go away just because you're getting married to some fucking nerd?! And you call me the fake..." Maria yells, yanking at Harumi's hair.
"I didn't mean it, I just wanted peace! You can't share a home with me Maria!"
"I'm part of you, you stupid bitch. You can, you've been doing it for years..." Maria smiles as she looks down on her main persona. "Why stop now? Maybe I can shut you out like you did me."
Well not really, Harumi was dragging herself out, slathered in makeup and yelling in two completely different voices. Maria was a persona, a problem in her own head. All Harumi wanted was her gone, all she wanted was to live in peace with her husband, without the shadow of this personality following her everywhere... she hears rollerblades and remembers what her student told her on a hospital bed. Lil Slugger set him free. With him it was suspicion, would he set Harumi free from this dark, uncontrollable persona she had? She turned around and saw a boy coming at her on rollerblades and a golden bat...
The bat hits her hard, knocking her (and Maria) out.
Harumi awakes in the hallway, her glasses knocked away and her head pounding. She retrieves her glasses, blinks some times and asks in her gentle voice.
"Where, where am I?"
