Denzel is sitting on a couch as he writes, "Further more Temeraire the dragon can't breathe fire. My relative would had been very interested in a dragon that can't breathe fire. Considering, all those burns - WHAT THE HECK IS ALL THAT RUCKUS?!" As he goes to peer into the main room.

Okay, the sudden yelling actually gets Dean to shut up for like, five seconds while he glances around for the source. Spotting the strange man from the kitchen, he plasters on his best Dealing with Crazy People smile and says, "Small disagreement that's gonna end in snowy, snowy defeat for my friend here. You ever chuck a snowball?"

"Did I every what with a snowball?" Don't use your new fangle who how language.

Oh lord. "You know - chuck. Hurl. Launch. Propel. Fling. Cannon." Pause. "Throw."

Apparently he can't not be obnoxious today.

"Oh. Why the fiddle sticks didn't you just say propel!? And no. I haven't to answer your question."

"Want to?" replies Dean, ignoring the bit before the admission.

"Not really." Not that Crocker would know fun if it bite him in the rear. Which at this very moment was.

"You mean to tell me you have never once in your life looked at a snow drift and wanted to just scoop some up and... propel... it into someone's face?" Dean does not understand you, Crocker. Not one bit.

"Well, prehaps if there ever was school when it snowed where I'm from but then it only snows on Christmas."

[surfaceshine]

"...what's any of that got to do with anything?" You lost him, Crocker. "Do you live in a school that only unlocks its cage doors when there are kids in it?"

[pointdexter62]

"I can't believe I've never told of that. But to answer your question. NO!" Pause, "I just tend to stay inside and work."

[surfaceshine]

"Well... all work and no play makes. Um. You a very dull boy," Dean jokes, haltingly. He grins impishly to try to smooth it over. "Now's your chance to find out what play is all about."

"I'm fine without play." Goes back to writing.

Persistent used to be Dean's middle name, but he can't get a read on this guy. He tries one more time, just for old time's sake. "How'd you know if you never do it?"

Denzel looks up for a moment, "I observed others. Looks like a waste of time if you ask me." And immature at that.

"Dude, that ain't even close to the same," Dean snorts, dismissive. But he shrugs. "But that's cool. We don't even need you. Have fun with your little drawings."
