Belize is interested in your laptop, Tony. Very interested. Belize's boyfriend would die for a chance to have better technology to play with.

And so Belize is hovering about, considering an approach for information.

"Hey there," he'll offer, friendly and open. Belize is nothing if not your regular New York nurse. His proclivities are also anything but invisible.

It's a shame that the laptop shows nothing but solitaire to anyone non-magically inclined.

"Hey," he offers back, smiling. His own preferences aren't immediately obvious, but to anyone with a bit of gaydar, he's certainly not hiding it. "What's up?"

It really is - poor Simeon! That won't stop Belize from being curious, though.

Belize offers a grin. "Couldn't help but notice this spiffy thing you got. It's a computer, right?"

Being from the mid-eighties, Belize actually isn't all that computer savvy - at least, not unless they're first-generation Macs.

Tony grins back and nods. "Yeah, more or less. I take it there aren't a lot of them around here?"

"Don't think I've ever seen one so small," Belize replies. "The only one I've seen around is actually fairly huge."

"It's probably kind of old." He tapps the screen of his. "This one's not too much better really. I can't do much with it."

"So it's not good?" Belize considers this. "Still, I'm curious - mind if I ask where you found it?"

Just in case...

"No, no. It's good. It was given to me back home and I guess I lucked out when I was brought here." He shrugged. "I mean, it doesn't really do much at all. Stores information and plays a game." He turned it so that the other guy could see it.

Belize looks and is impressed by the graphics, actually. "--- it's in color."

Tony chuckles. "Yeah. Yeah, it's in color. It's not too bad really. Graphics-wise. This is pretty much all it does though. The cards, I mean."

"Really? That's kind of strange," Belize replies. "Something that looks this sophisticated can't even log Oregon Trail?"

"Well, it's not like some of the other models out there. It's ot it's good points though." He tapped the side. "I never have to plug it in and it'll store anything I write."

"Ah," Belize replies with a nod. "So you're a writer?" And realizing his manners... "I'm Belize, by the way."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Tony." He smiled. "And no, I'm not a writer. I worked in televison. Well, before here anyway."

"Well yes. Here, nobody works. Very strange, isn't it?"

Belize does not believe in leisurely time - well, it's not true, he does. Just not in such vast quantities.

"The boredom is driving me up the wall." And to doing some rather stupid things, but let's not get into that just yet.

"What do you do to keep busy here?"
