Melou's heading down to the lake. It's one of his favourite places to spend time, not that he would admit it.
He hadn't counted on someone else being there, though, so when he spots Hisoka he stops and stands there, awkwardly, trying to decide whether or not he should just turn around and walk back to the house.
"I do not," Melou protests. He collects himself then, wiping the uncertainty off his face, until it's mostly blank and perhaps a bit grumpy-looking. "Did you want something?"
Hisoka relaxes, shifts his weight, and tucks his hands into his pockets. "No, I was just saying hello. I haven't met everybody at the Mansion yet, even though it's been ten months."
"Do you want to meet everyone who lives here?" Melou asks, like he thinks that's strange. Most of the people at the Mansion are stupid and annoying, in his opinion, so he doesn't understand why anyone would want to meet them.
Hisoka gives the question some thought, and then replies, "Some people are fascinated by water, or by the idea of crossing water. Or by the watercraft, itself -- a boat can be both pretty and efficient. Or sometimes, a person just likes the exercise. And then, of course, there's the entertainment factor. And there is also being driven to a new experience by sheer boredom."
