Echo had been cooped up all winter, waiting for spring to arrive. Sure, she had spent some time outside playing in the snow, but she's a nymph, and nymphs like warm weather. So when she saw it was getting nice out, she happily went outside

Here's someone that's familiar and feeling much, much better than before. Asato recognizes her as the kind, if a bit strange, person that he picked flowers with.

He's a bit shy to approach her, but he'll wave if she happens to look in his direction.

She might be looking around again, sitting up and taking a break from her reverie, when she spots him and waves.

Asato walks over to her, crouching down nearby and smiling a bit at her. "Hello again."

[sanswords]

"...hello again." She grins, pleased to see him.

[misborncat]

"Have you been well?" His tail flicks behind him as he relaxes a bit, glad she remembers him and isn't chasing him off.

[sanswords]

"...been well?" She nods, still grinning.

[misborncat]

"Good." He's never been good with small talk, but he tries. "I'm glad you're well. Things have been safe here?"

[sanswords]

"...safe here?" She nods again, sitting cross-legged on the grass. She might pick a dandelion or two and start to tie them together.

[misborncat]

Asato watches her for a moment, then gathers up some grass and starts to weave them together.

[sanswords]

Echo smiles at that and continues her work, adding a few more flowers.
