It's been almost a year now... and Utena can't complain.
For the first time, she actually feels like a (somewhat) normal fourteen year old girl. She has friends, enemies, perhaps even a family. But it's all real this time. Not a form of trickery. This makes her feel... blissful.
And it is with this jubilant heart that she is outside, enjoying the outdoors. Perhaps she's around the lake, dipping her feet in the water.
Her only regret is that Anthy isn't here with her to learn to that a peaceful life is one without complication.
