The Prince pinkduelist April 7 2011, 01:43:24 UTC
Utena had some difficulties with finding an outfit that was Arabian enough and also fit her personal androgynous style. But at the last moment she found a rich, jeweled white caftan in the plothole as well as some silk matching pants. Combined with sandals and some jewelry, Utena looks every bit of beautiful, heroic, Arabian prince.

She sits on floor pillows near the window, light gleaming off her.

Catherine spotted the poster and wondered just what it could involve? It doesn't sound very proper, but she decides to give it a go. The worst she could do is flee, if it came to that.

Which is when she spies the rose-haired figure in white, whom she approaches. "Excuse me, sir, but what, might I ask, is this place?"

The pink hair figure replies with a boyish, but noticeably female voice. "This is a Host Club, we entertain women and make them feel special."

Truth is, she kinda has no idea herself and is merely telling Cathy what Hunny told her.

Cathy blinks, not quite sure what this young person could be, but they seem polite and reassuring enough. "I see: I was worried it might be something improper," she admits. "I am rather unacquainted with the ways of the world. I am Catherine Morland of Fullerton."

"I'm Utena Tenjou, pleased to meet you Miss Morland. Would you need anything?"

"I would not be above a cup of tea and some polite conversation," she says, blushing, a little hesitant. And wondering if the young lady or gentleman might be an elf or a wizard, given the unusual hair color.

"Can you tell me how you take your tea, Madam?"

"With lemon and sugar, if you please," she says. There's a question on the tip of her tongue, but she's not sure how to phrase it, or if it would even be proper to ask it.

"As you wish, Miss Morland..." Utena gets up and walks to the table and returns with a tray with a tea kettle, two cups, two small bowls filled with cube sugar and lemon slices.

She fixes a cup for Catherine. "Miss Morland, can you please tell me some things about yourself?"

"There is not much to tell: I am the eldest daughter of our village's parson and I have two elder brothers and seven younger siblings," she says, modestly. "I am fond of reading novels and since I came to this place, I have begun to consider writing a novel of my own."

She smiles at her and hands her the tea.

"Well thats a simple life."

It's a thing Utena has wanted. If couldn't be a prince she would be a ordinary girl for once.

"It is, though I must confess, that I have lead such a quiet life, I am not sure what I might write a novel about," she admits.

"Sometimes the only and the best adventure to be had is only in your mind."

Trust her on this.

"That is very true! I have imagined many stories, inspired by the people that I have met here, it is just a matter of choosing one and writing it down," she replies.

Utena frowns a little, this wasn't the answer she has hoping.

"Well as long as you ask to tell their stories..."

Ooops... she realizes, from that frown she's stumbled in the conversation. "Oh, yes: I trust you must have an unusual story," she asks. "Are you an adventuress of some kind?"
