Hisoka is sitting in one of the porch seats, arms folded and gazing out at the distant treetops. Perhaps he has heard a footstep, because he turns his head towards the doorway. "Hello," he says.

Draco's head jerks in the direction of the voice and he is scowling.

He doesn't seem like he's even going to reply for a long moment, then he just kind of grunts and looks angrily out toward the garden.

Hisoka supposes the grunt was some sort of acknowledgement. He glances in the same direction as Draco is, and maintains an unobtrusively interested silence. He figures that if the man really doesn't want company, he'll leave.

Draco carefully glances at Hisoka after a long pause.

"Who are you?" His tone is abrupt and unfriendly, though Hiskoa may be able to detect underlying emotions of hurt and sadness.

Hisoka is able to detect those emotions, indeed.

"Hisoka Kurosaki," he replies, quietly, "and you?"

"... I'm Draco Malfoy."

"Can I help?" asks Hisoka, still quietly.

[dracoslytherin]

"Not unless you know what to do with stupid husbands."

[in_summer_leaf]

"I don't have one," admits Hisoka. "What's yours guilty of?"

[dracoslytherin]

"Being a stubborn arse," Draco says grumpily.

[in_summer_leaf]

"Meaning he won't give ground on an issue that is dear to your heart?"

[dracoslytherin]

"Meaning he kicked me out of our room for no good reason."

[in_summer_leaf]

"Permanently?"

[dracoslytherin]

"How is this any of your business?"

[in_summer_leaf]

"It isn't."

[dracoslytherin]

"So stop asking me questions about it."
