Aredhel can be found in the kitchen. She's making jam for the family, in fact, and she will have a pot of cherry preserve for Celebrimbor to take away.

The room smells of sweets, a little bit too much, perhaps, and she is humming to herself.

The little girls are on the floor, playing with dolls and being very, very good. They're an independent set, these two.

Typist is amused that she picked something red for him. Cele stoops to greet the little girls, giving them each a light kiss on the cheek or their hair before going to greet his aunt-cousin with a hug. She can undoubtedly see the good mood he's in. "Hello! It smells wonderful in here."

"Tyelpe!" she replies, grinning, happy to see how well the little girls accepted their cousin's kisses. "I was just wondering how I might get this to the forge," Aredhel informs him. "It's lucky that you're here."

[ringsmith]

"You needn't bring anything to the forge if you don't wish to, I am often here as well, you know. I don't actually live, there," he teases. "And thank you, very much."

Ireth smiles, tiptoes to kiss his cheek fondly. "Sometimes I wonder if you do, though." And back on the balls of her feet, she gives him a teasing, mischievous look. "Well, aren't you in a good mood, Tyelpe."

[ringsmith]

"I am," he says. "Cousin," he says, reaching to take her hands, beaming with happiness, "My Lydia has agreed to marry me."

Aredhel grins wide, then claps in her hands excitedly. "--- oh! A wedding! We're going to have a wedding! Oh, Tyelpe, I'm so happy for you!"

Cele, you're getting utterly glomped.

[ringsmith]

Cele is glomped, and hugs her tight with a laugh. "Yes, we are. Thank you." He's so glad when the people he loves are happy for him. It means a lot.

[arid_white_lady]

"Oh, it's wonderful! Did you tell your uncle yet, or shall I? I wouldn't want to spoil your pleasure, if you'd sooner tell him yourself." And turning to the girls, still very animated, Aredhel says, "Alquie, Hirie, your cousin Tyelpe is getting married!"

She would have been given the moon, she wouldn't be happier.

The baby girls may or may not grasp what's going on, but they're giggling happily.

"Lydia and I have been trying to tell everyone, but I haven't seen him yet. You can tell him if you see him before I do." He grins at her, and the giggling little girls, he's going to have to make the girls something pretty.

[arid_white_lady]

"You don't mind? I really wouldn't want to be stealing your thunder --" Aredhel laughs, and then takes one of the girls (Cele is free to join in and take the other one), and dances about the room. "We're having a marriage," she repeats, singing happily.

[ringsmith]

He scoops up the other to give her a hug, though he doesn't really dance around like Irisse's doing. "Whoever sees him first, I suppose," he says, still grinning at his little cousin. He should make the little girls something pretty.

[arid_white_lady]

Aredhel would be so touched if he died, it would be ridiculously adorable.

"Alright," she replies, and the giggling baby in her arms makes her laugh some more as well. "Oh, but Tyelpe, I'm so excited for you - will you ---"

Pause.

But what about Cele-babies? says the look on Ireth's suddenly interrogating face.

"Will I what?" He looks up at her as he ruffles the baby cousin's hair.

Aredhel's smile waves a little. "-- will you be able to have babes of your own?"

[ringsmith]

"...No. No, we won't. Lydia is...unable." But he loves her. He's not leaving her because of that even if that's a big part of some of his family's disapproval.
