A few harmless Valentine's Day treats...

Sitting out in the main room are chocolates. Some piled on trays, others in small boxes, with all sorts of flavors and fillings. Gabrielle's been busy and these are the results of her efforts. Brienne poked around the food on the table quite a bit. She even timidly called out, to see if anyone was around, and eventually picked out a piece of orange-flavored milk chocolate.

And now, she's grinning, feeling particularly confident and talkative.

Yes. Brienne has just been dis-inhibited.

Chocolate. Stark doesn't even think twice before picking up a good looking bit of dark chocolate and popping it into his mouth. "That's pretty good..."

Tasted a bit weird but... He snags another and wanders off, probably in the direction of a chatty Brienne?

I couldn't resist. I'm having some notif fail at the moment though, so I'm slow until it works again.

Brienne brightens considerably when she sees Stark. Now, she's always happy to see him, don't get us wrong, but it's significantly more visible than usual.

"Stark!" she says, and cuts the distance. "I'm happy to see you."

Well, there we are. First thing she's never told him before. But it's all in earnest.

Stark... glows a bit... at seeing her and he smiles. The sunny smile is a bit marred by the scarring, but it's warm all the same.

"Brienne," he offers, with something of a gallant bow. "You are looking more lovely each time I see you." Yes, he's being totally honest here, but then Stark has strange tastes.

I'm playing the refresh game right now but it's good to know that YOU'RE caught up on ours. I can type. Really.

Well, here, she blinks. "Lovely, me?" She's not faigning modesty, she just has no filters right now. "Stark, I know I'm ugly. You don't have to lie to please me."

... yeah. Really, really no filters. Way to go, Brienne.

"To me, it's not the outer shell that I look at, but you yourself and you, my friend, are a fox." Neither does he. He's also rather ... chipper.

Well, inhibited or not, Brienne has to blush, rather violently, at that. "-- thank you," she says, and looks at Stark again.

"You're ugly as sin, but I think you're the most beautiful man I know."

Yes, Stark, she really likes you a lot.

*hugs* Heee, would s/he like a mother?

He laughs at that, clearly pleased. "Thanks. My face is pretty fucked up though, huh." He offers his arm. The move is a bit awkward and stilted, but still, honest.

"This ugly man could offer you a drink, but I don't know what you like. He could offer you a chocolate, but I don't know what you like, so he'll have to offer to be an escort today. Hope that's alright?"

I'm sure we will be needing a mother before too long.

Brienne doesn't hesitate when she slips her arm into his. "It's more than alright," she tells him. "You're the best escort I ever had, ever since that day you told Oberyn Martell to go to hell for making me cry." Pause. And she grins, crooked teeth and all. "And you do know what I like. I like you."

She'll be there! <3 I was planning on punting her eventually as well. (This is ridiculous, half my roster wants in on this crackplot. >.> So if you want anyone, tell me, they're likely already slated to go in ANYWAY. XD)

"He deserved it," Stark says reasonably. "The man was an asshole and so far below both of us that even hell is too good for him." He smiles back at her, scars and all.

"And I like you. So it's good that it works out that way, huh?"

Groovy! Gunji might make an appearance to harass Feanor, though I don't think he'll eat any chocolates. The same goes for me though. If there's someone you'd like to see, let me know.

"You know," Brienne says, "he was considered a hero, in Westeros. A whole nation all but declared civil war after he died." Her lips twitch. "But I'll take it. No-one's ever been as nice to me as you are, J - Stark."

Jimmy, she almost said, but she caught that one on time.

Gunji's welcome to tag Fea! ^^ Maybe Asato and Merls could do a singing duet? XD If you throw Tony about, he might get a hippy to play with? Idk, I'm just punting ideas around. ^^ And jsyk, I'll be turning in now <3

Good that she caught herself. That might have triggered a sad story or two....

He will want a hug. And Asato might be leery of chocolate unless he sees others eating it. And a Tony would love a hippie!

Brienne is blinking, once or twice, before she speaks. "-- you know," she says, "I think I'd probably die trying to defend you. You're a good man, Stark. Don't let anyone think otherwise."

She blushes a little, demurely (which is odd on her face, we're aware). "-- You're a hero in my eyes."

Anything can be arranged, but it's all up to you, of course! And we have a hippy here!

That surprises Stark. "Really? Well, don't worry about the whole dying thing. I'm pretty hardy." He thinks for a moment, feeling a bit awkward himself.

"But I'd do the same for you. You're special Brienne. Remember that."

It can be arranged. And yay hippies and hugs!

Brienne blinks, then she grins abruptly. "So are you. And I love you, Stark." Typist willing, she'll impetuously tug him into a hug.

Her declaration? Could be anything. Could be deep friendship. Could be something else. With Brienne, it's hard to tell: her emotions run deep either way.

He's pulled into a hug and laughs with about as much cheer as he's capable of. When something's not being beaten into a pulp anyway.

"Well, thanks. It's been a while since I've heard that," he says, offering a hug back.
