Inspired by Ariel's shenanigans a couple years ago, Merlin has opted to, once again, attempt to spread some holiday cheer. That is probably why, in the common room where a pine tree has already been decorated, one can find a generous buffet with all sorts of foods, salty and sugar, western, eastern, northern and southern. There is also a bar where one can find drinks of any sort they wish.
The room was already decorated, but some additions have been made. The most notable is mistletoe, which can be found scattered a little bit everywhere in the Mansion - not only in the common room, but in corridors, and hey, why not, even in some rooms.
At one point or another in the evening, a cheerful old fellow can be found - he has a bag full of goodies, and will have something for everyone. He might even be wearing red for the occasion, go figure.
Some music can be heard coming out of nowhere - light and silvery chords on a harp, something gentle and soothing, inviting. Anyone is welcome to come enjoy the cheer, of course.
[OOC: It all started with this crack idea that Merlin should be playing Santa this year, which he is - and then someone in chat said it would be nice to have mistletoe lying around. And someone else said a party might be in order. SO! Have a multi-purpose post:
- puppets can come see Merlin and fetch a present - nothing extraordinary, but a knickknack to make them happy can be conjured on demand, just let me know what you want!
- puppets may of course mingle and enjoy the party post!
- puppets are free to find mistletoe wherever their typists see fit - the mistletoe is natural and does not compel anyone to do anything, but if necessary, typists are free to assume that its signification is somehow instilled on their puppet if they wish.
Also a note to add that although we're posting on December 24th, feel free to tag in, even later, if you've been eaten by the holidays. Typist are also free to assume that the holiday set up in the common room lasts a bit more than a week (and therefore into 2011). ]
