Guinevere has had plenty of time to recover from her emotions. She's remembered things.
She's remembered her children, the ones she has in another reality, Lleu and Goewin. She's remembered being saved from herself by Sir Kay and another nephew who claimed to have custody of her. She's had dreams.
In her dream, there is a dinner with all the knights who survived the Grail Quest. There is an apple and an unfortunate assassination. There are false accusations, and a gesture of goodwill to protect her.
Some things are clear in her mind, and perhaps that is the reason that she is not cooped up, for once, but rather embroidering quietly out by the hearth. The end of fall's chill has warranted a fire, lit by a kind soul before she sat there. The work she is focused on is merely something to occupy her hands.
She could use some company.
