For once in Misa's life, she feels... whole. Light is here with her, and although he doesn't return her affection, it's nice just to have him here with her. Misa can't see her life without him, honestly.

She also has found another reason to stay here, she met a lovely opera singer who gave her a opportunity to dance again. Misa has been dancing

She may realize she's not alone, that a a tall, slender gentleman in a grey silk shirt and white dress trousers has entered the ballroom and is watching her from the sill of one of the windows, where he's drawing something on a small sketchbook, glancing up at her through the silver fringe over his forehead.

Misa stops practicing for just a moment and notices the man.

"Hey there! What are you doing here?"

"You'll have to forgive me," he says. "I looked in and spotted you practicing, and I slipped out to find my sketch pad. I've been sketching you at practice for the past ten minutes: you're quite graceful and it's been a while since I had the chance to sketch a figure in motion."

"There's no problem, just warn me first. You nearly scared me." Silver hair, silver eyes... Light told me about him!

Misa backs away a bit.

River's not spent much time in the ballroom yet, though she's been drawn to it often. She hasn't usually found anyone else there, but when she pokes her head through the door and spots Misa in her tights she brightens and steps farther into the room. "You dance."

Misa goes en pointe without effort with a huge grin on her face.

"Yes! Who are you?"

"River," she answers, watching Misa's movement and form. "I danced." It's been so long though, the cargo bay provided sufficient space when empty but she couldn't practice with much consistancy. Much of her attention is on Misa's feet, wondering where exactly she aquired the shoes. She'd like a pair.

Misa beams. "Thats so wonderful to know, do you have any tights or shoes so we can practice together?"

Aaaand there's a GraveRobber lurking about and being kind of curious about things. And as he sits atop a windowsill, he smirks at the very naked girl in the ballroom.

Ballet. Huh. Isn't that a bit ancient?

Zomg, beautiful ragged gothic man ahead. Misa stops for a moment.

"Ummm, hello?"

He also doesn't smell very good. But he might be too far for that to be an issue for now.

"-- Hey," he drawls. "Preparing for the baaaaallet?"

And I just had thoughts of punting Paul her way - are you okay with that?

Misa smiles at him. "Yes, actually!"

She then looks puzzled. "Who are you?"

Anita's just wandering around - it's day time, and as it's not a particularly pleasant day weatherwise, she's taken to just walking around. She hasn't been to the ballroom since the man she refers to as Jaenelle's moron (Cyrano) put on a play, almost two years ago.

"Wow. Quiet in here," she mutters to herself when she passes the revolving doors.

When Anita opens the doors she'll find Misa focusing at the practice bar.

"Oh, hello there!" Misa says cheerfully.

.... "Hi," Anita replies, a bit taken aback by the Overwhelming Cheeriness. She's generally a gloomy (or at least serious) person herself.

Dlkfjdlkfjdlkj!!! almost naked woman where his not!daughter would normally practice her dancing! Tristan is torn between ordering her out and pretending this isn't happening, and is thus stuck in the doorway and not sure what to do with himself.

He was just going to try the acoustic, with a harp he found in a wardrobe and has been fixing up in secret.

Misa stops for a moment to look at the man.

"Is there anything wrong?"

Said man, by the way, is dressed in medieval gear, should Misa care to notice.

Tristan manage to look away.

"-- This is not appropriate," he manages to blurt out.

He's very visibly flustered.

Misa looks puzzled. "And why not? I'm only dancing."
