[introduction] geoffrey chaucer's the name, writing's the game.

The first thing he does is, he checks to see if he's wearing any clothes. England: bloody ruthless country, it'll take the clothes right off your back, sometimes literally.

Still, it could be worse. He could be in France.

Geoff stands up, dusting the dirt off his highly anachronistic coat, to survey the landscape. It doesn't look too unfamiliar. A house, abet strange looking, is never too unwelcome a sight. He starts towards it, humming under his breath.

"He's blond, he's pissed, he'll see you in the lists: Lichtenstein! He's blond, he's tanned, he comes from Gelderland, he comes from Gelderland! Gelderland, Gelderland, Gelderland..."

Name: Geoffrey "Geoff" Chaucer
Fandom: A Knight's Tale
Media: Film.
Other relevant info: Feel free to have people realize/recognize who he is as one of the fathers of English literature, but please don't specifically recognize him from A Knight's Tale. I'M SORRY I TRASHED FRANCE, WIL; IT IS CANON.
