Iggy's still feeling a bit out of sorts, but he's not hiding out in his room anymore and can be found by the lake most of the day, either sitting quietly and feeding the birds or running through his katas depending on the level of energy he has.

Either way, there's a very tall teenager with very, very large wings, probably surrounded by various birds and feeling almost friendly enough to be sociable.

When Franz goes out to explore the outdoors, he eventually wanders over the lake, stopping in his tracks when he spots a boy who seems to be around his age. Though he can't help but be taken aback at not only Iggy's wings, but his massive height-not something he'd expect from someone who looks to be around his age, perhaps a year or two younger. Though he might very well be wrong. It wouldn't surprise him at all.

Though Franz doesn't say anything to initiate a conversation, he does decide to walk closer to the lake, if only to get a closer look at satisfy his curiosity. If Iggy's hearing makes up for his lack in vision, he might very well hear Franz approach.

Iggy's only fourteen and still growing, something that annoys him to no end really. He does hear someone approach and will tilt his head slightly, pausing in his task as the birds all grow silent at the stranger.

"Hi?"

Franz startles, somewhat, a brief, but erratic change in the beat of his footsteps. Otherwise, it's almost unnoticeable. He clears his throat. "Sorry," he says, feeling rather awkward as he approaches. "I didn't startle you, did I?"

He smiles a bit and shakes his head. "It's fine. You're not here to throw things at me are you?"

"Throw things at you?" He shakes his head, coming to the edge of the lake, perhaps inadvertently driving some of the attendant birds off. "No, of course not. Why would I?"

"Seems to be a recent trend or something," he says, listening as most of the birds take off for nearby trees and the lake water. "Are you new? I don't think I know your voice." And as he gets closer it's probably apparent that his blue-violet eyes are pale and unfocused.

"I'm Iggy."

"Well, if you'd like me to throw one at you, I could certainly oblige." Though he is hardly being serious when he says so, his tone light and obviously joking.

He does, however, pick up a small pebble at the lake's edge, sending it skimming across the water.

"And you could say that," he says, picking up another, tossing it up into the air before catching it with his waiting hand. He watches Iggy's eyes all the while, seeing if they follow the pebble at all. "It's Franz."

He supposes if he is right, bowing would be pointless as well as unnecessary, though he nearly does it out of habit, nearly damning his indomitable French upbringing.

He hears the pebbles being thrown, but he doesn't visually track them. "I'd rather you didn't," he says with a small smile. "Nice to meet you Franz. You get the tour and introduction already?"

"Several times over, in one way or another," he replies, throwing the last pebble into the lake, not bothering to pick up another one. "You spend a lot of time here?"

"Some." Iggy points back to the Mansion. "I like the roof too, and I have a," there's a slight hesitation. "A balcony that's attached to my room that I'll sit on. The lake though has the ducks."

"Friends of yours?" he says, gaze drifting over to a few that have settled idly on the lake's surface.

He chuckles and shakes his head. "No, not any more than they'd be friends of yours. They just know that I'll feed them when I'm out here."

"Find some young ones, and I'm sure you could get them to believe you were their mother."

He doesn't mean it to be insulting, of course, and there's no malice present in his tone of voice, just said in a good-natured, easy sort of way.

He doesn't take offense, but he does snort. "That's the last thing I need. As if I didn't get teased enough around here."

At least he'd have a pack of ducks at his disposal, though what he could use was an army of swans or geese. Nasty things with a temper to match. The first time he had tried to feed one had been Franz's last. He clears his throat. "Because of your wings?"
