A tall, lean man in a long pale grey coat walks along the path toward the Mansion. He has a confident yet relaxed manner about him, however his eyes are sharply observing his surroundings

When he crosses the front lawn of the Mansion, he'll find a young boy about thirteen years old, but looking younger than that, swinging a wooden practice sword around, clearly trying to figure out how to fight. Seeing the newcomer, he looks up and smiles. "Hi there, are you new here?" he asks.
Riku isn't sure how exactly to learn how to defend himself, but he figures he has to start somewhere. He's always found swords cool and he loved watching Saya and Haji practicing, so he's asked the powers that be for a wooden sword to start with.
"Oh, not really," Riku replies, lowering the sword. "I'm planning to be a knight or a samurai or maybe a vampire hunter someday when I'm stronger. I'm Riku Miyagusuku."
"I'm a knight," Seifer straightens himself proudly up to his full height - which is about 6'2". He's not really a knight, but he likes to think of himself that way.
Have a fairly cute looking pink haired girl practicing sword fighting on the front lawn. She has a rapier in her right hand and look of pure determination on her face
Her moves are graceful and precise with a bit of a flair for dramatic. Still a person can tell from the sweat droplets on her face that she's working quite hard.
Seifer hangs back for a little while, watching her. He's impressed but he doesn't like to think that anyone is better than he is, so it is with a cocky swagger that he approaches her.
"Looks like you need a lot more practice," he remarks.
Whenever Seifer makes it to the common room, he might come across a young lady who is quietly studying on her own. Genevieve has been wanting to do more self-study, and she's currently trying to work out some algebra.
It's not working very well, though, and that's why she's chewing on her pencil pensively.
Aaand here's a knightly type, practicing out on the lawn. He's actually battering his sword against a practice dummy. Tristan's primary weapon was the bow for sometime, when he lived in the forest of Brocéliandre, and for mounted battles, it is indeed a good choice. Yet he realizes that he may one day have to duel for his queen's honor, so here he is, practicing.
Despite all of the above, he's in fact quite good - after all, he's the second best knight in Britain, after Lancelot.
Caught in the act, Favrielle doesn't blush. She's probably confronted such looks before, what with her curious and observant nature. Therefore, she nods curtly, elegantly, and might take a few steps in his direction.
"I beg your pardon, messire," she begins. "I'm afraid I was staring."

"That looks incredibly boring," he says in her direction. Studying had never been a strong point with him. He always liked to act rather than plan.

"I don't suppose you're from a Garden either?" He questions, raising an eyebrow at Tristan's efforts.

"A garden? Mayhap. Who might be asking?"
He's always had a peculiar relationship with interrogatories.

When she sees him on the way to her room, if he made it inside, she actually stops to observe him. That's what she calls elegance.
