"Stop!" Bridget's boots echoed against the hall as he chased down his target. "Come on, please stop?" He hadn't really expected the target to run, but then he probably should have. It almost never worked when you told someone you were here to take them in so if they could please hold still while you put the cuffs on...
But, Bridget felt it would be impolite not to at least make the attempt.
Which is, of course, how he came to now be chasing a surprisingly quick heavy man through an office building. Who knew he could run so fast? Taking out a yo-yo, Bridget took aim and let fly at the round head in front of him, smiling as it went sailing past and hung in mid-air. The target didn't notice or notice when Bridget called out "Come back!"
He did notice a heavy children's toy come flying back at his face though and Bridget let out a whoop when the target came down like a sack of bricks. "Alright Roger, call up the locals and have them come pick him up from here. Oh, and don't forget about our pay too." Bridget always seemed to forget that, and while he didn't really care, it was important to keep up appearances.
The young man stepped out of the building's main doors and froze. This ... wasn't the city.
Bridget spun around and blinked. The offices were gone. Everything was gone. Wait... "Roger?" The large brown teddy bear turned and looks up at him, letting Bridget sigh with relief and bend to pick him up.
"Good. I thought I'd lost you." The bear endured the treatment without comment while the bounty hunter looked around. They were on the edge of a forest, with a huge house right ahead of them. It was hot and sunny where only moments ago it had been cool and raining. At least his sleeveless blue uniform kept him comfortable.
"What is this?"
