[Re-Introduction] Blood on the Snow

Apr 12, 2010 11:36

Only here, there isn't much snow left. Mostly mud and wet grass. Still, the man lies slumped on the ground, one hand out-stretched from where he'd dropped the pistol, which he no longer has on him.

He's dressed heavily, for a Siberian winter, in wool coat layered over a sweater and shirt, thick fur-lined boots, gloves in his pocket. There's an empty holster for the missing gun. And he's oddly hatless, so his auburn hair is clearly visible. Blood has soaked into his hair and down the side of his handsome face, but there doesn't seem to be a wound, or not an obvious one.

After a time, he snorts as if waking from a deep sleep and pushes himself upright, one hand still in the mud, the other rubbing at the blood then staring at his bloody hand. For the moment, he only seems confused.

Name: Pavel "Pasha" Pavolivich Antipov aka Strelnikov
Fandom: Doctor Zhivago (Boris Pasternak)
Media: Book
Other relevant info: Pasha is freshly arrived from shooting himself behind the house where Yuri is holed up at Varykino, near Yuriatin, in Siberia. He's just learned that, for their safety (because of his exploits and fall from grace as Strelnikov), his wife and daughter have just left with Komarovsky for the eastern border. He's a bit gloomy and not a very warm conversationalist, but make no bones that this is a smart man. And don't worry, he won't shoot you in the introduction, he doesn't have a gun with him. He has been completely re-set and does not remember any previous visits to the Mansion.
