An announcement was pinned in the common room the day after the birth. It was a simple one, announcing the birth of Michelle's daughter, Tamara Faraday, (7lbs even) and assurances that mother and child are both doing well.
A fortnight later, another notice appears that Michelle and Mike will be bringing the baby to the mansion to be introduced to all of her friends. Michelle's chosen a smaller sitting room, for both privacy and intimacy. It gives the chance for those to find her, and meet Tamara, but a level of control that a larger room, like the common room or the kitchen, does not afford.
Tamara's dressed in finely embroidered garments and wrapped in blankets, made by Angelique and Catelyn respectively. There's a fine light brown dusting of hair on her head, and blue eyes. The eyes are her father's,the lankiness her grandmother's, though everything else is clearly Michelle.
Michelle will be there for most of the afternoon, and everyone's welcome, though announcing one's arrival is a good idea. Tamara's a very healthy eater.
