Lystra's taking Tyan out to play in the snow (or so she says; she's also planning to play in the snow herself), and she's pleased to run into somebody she knows.
The girls are focused on their fort, and so Aredhel comes to greet Lystra instead. "Lystra, it has been a time," she says, and she will touch her arm, then greet Tyan properly.
"No," Lystra says, bending to scoop a little snow up in one mittened hand, just so she can stare at it in wonder. "I'd never seen it before I came here."
"It hit our folk as we were trudging up a mountain pass called the Helcaraxe," she replies. "It would not let up, and lasted so long, that it took many."
"Aredhel!" she calls, smiling.

She sighs, and looks at the other woman.
"My first encounter with snow was not so kind."

She smiles a little, bravely. "My people are strong, and we pulled through."

They might be interrupted by a flurry of snowballs, though.
