[Open Post] On the wings of song...
Mag has been holding off her concert preparations: the terror of the earthquake in the winter was enough to put her off these plans. At least Nick came through, helping her to safety, and they been with each other through the ensuing sojourn in Genkai's dojo and the reconstituting of the house. Things have calmed down and in the meantime, she's found a young musician whom she's fond of, as a fellow musician, a brother, even. Time to move on, follow through with the plans. Whatever happens, the show must go on, after all.
She's put up a notice on the bulletin board, to alert any other musicians in residence to her talent search:
Miss Magdalen Defoe is planning a concert for later this summer. Any interested musicians, singers, dancers and costumers are welcome to join her in the ballroom.
On this warm early summer day, she can be found seated at the piano in the ball room, the French windows open, letting in a later afternoon breeze, pouring over several scores, humming to herself, or perhaps playing softly...
