Morgana's love of riding has been a part of her since she could walk. She's never been just a casual rider, and thus wants to be sure her mounts are properly cared for. When the disaster hit, so many of the horses escaped, but were quickly found. Tame horses do not survive well in the wild and there are wolves in the woods.
Many have been found, but one in particular, the mare Morgana considers hers, has not readjusted to the stables. Del disappeared nearly a week nearly a week ago. It is a fluke that Morgana spotted some fresh marks early this morning, the first sign in over a day. Eventually, she finds the mare nibbling at a bit of loose bark: a sign of exactly how hungry she must be.
Del is not in a fit state to ride, so Morgana eases a halter over the mare's ears, and offers her a carrot, when the lead is attached. Such a long time of scavenging, means the horse has lost weight, a bit scratched, and is slow to be led. Taking her time, Morgana balances the mare's exhaustion with the need to get her back to the stables, to be properly attended to.
By early afternoon, Morgana's in sight of the stables.
