Everyone looked at her as if she went mad.
Completely still, with mouths dropped open. Honestly they shouldn't have been that shocked at all. This was coming for a long, long time. She wished it didn't have to be this way though. Cutting up her own sister into pieces, going with the overly repressed and rule-abiding enemy... Even the Daemon sisters where thrown for a loop. Apparently Corset never told them they had a mole the whole time.
Stocking hates her role though. But what else could she do? It was either serving in heaven in misery or serving in hell in misery. The only way out was to become a human.
That was not an option.
"Stocking! This is not part of the plan!", Garterbelt yelled.
"Why would you do this to your own sister?" Brief pleaded to her.
Stocking emotionless replied. "I'm sorry... I'm a Demon."
She didn't even pay attention when Corset reappeared and gloated to everyone about the new plan. She was that numb by then. Stocking begins to walk to Oten City, seemingly emotionless and hurting with the fact that her sister will never forgive her.
Soon the scenery may change around her.
"Hey Corset... we were going to Oten City right?"
She hears no one reply.
"Hey Corset!" Stocking yells, as she turns around and doesn't find him. She doesn't even see him, she doesn't even see the road, somewhere between urban and outside of it.
And it was about to be summer when it all happened. It's winter here.
