[Denzel is roaming the Mansion. It's been awhile since anyone has seen the tall, lanky and hunch over man stepping foot around. Though, he's been rather ill between the time of the fallen Mansion and now. Now, Crocker is back up on his feet and he wasn't sure how much time has passed but he still had to seek out his few friends. The few people in ( Read more... )

If he wanders into the library, Stiles has his nose in an Algebra II textbook. He's supposed to begin classes soon, and he's brushing up on math, his weakest subject. He considers himself weak in it because he has to study so hard to make an A, and yet he still manages it, every semester. The numbers and letters are beginning to bleed together, probably because he's still without Adderall, leaving his ADHD untreated, and he's fidgeting something fierce; still he determinedly refuses to put the book away and do something else.

Of course Crocker will wanders into the library. Though besides just peeking at people in here, also for something new to read, turning a corner, after having had collected a few books, spots someone else in there.

Watches the fidgeting for a moment or two before standing right behind Stiles and looking over the other man's shoulder on what he is reading.

Stiles finally notices someone behind him and jumps about a foot in the air, arms flailing. "Ah! Warn a guy, would you?" he cries out, eyes wide.

"The heck would be the fun in that?"

There's a pause, "Any special reason you're studying Algebra?"

"Dude, are you really that bored?" Stiles smirks, looking at him with a raised brow. He glances down at his book, and then up at the stranger. "Because Geometry is boring?" he deadpans.

"That's a plain silly question, NO!"

There's a beat, "Boring?" Either the other man didn't get Geometry or it was too easy, "How so?"

"It's nothing but memorizing theorems and angles and formulas, and spitting them back out on tests. "So I'd rather study Algebra; it's a little more interesting, at least. Definitely requires me to think more," Stiles shrugs. Actually, it requires him to think a lot, not that he's admitting that to a stranger. Geometry was definitely his easiest math course in -- ever. This he needs to study, especially with classes starting soon.

Denzel stretches his eyesbrows and head nods, that is why Denzel loves quantum physics, "Yesh, yeah. YES!" Slight spazz on the end there.

Stiles tilts his head to one side. "You wouldn't be my future math teacher would you?" Because any man that loves the subject this much is probably teaching it. Or at least tutoring.

He should have asked Paul for a list of the teachers he would have.

"Actually no. Mr Redacted thought I'd be best fitted as the chemistry teacher." Crocker really thinks Paul couldn't get anyone else into teaching others about that subject.

"Oh! Well, then. Hi, Mr Chemistry Teacher. I've always liked the subject, though not my former prof. Nope, not at all." In fact, Mr. Harris had taken great delight in ripping on Stiles in class, calling him stupid. Considering Stiles had been dealing with ADHD for years, it was unpleasant to say the least. It's not Stiles' fault that Harris got in trouble with the law -- and that Stiles' father was said law as in -- the Sheriff.

Stiles hopes things go better in Crocker's class.
