[Open post] Going a-courting, the danger we seek

Jan 17, 2013 00:28

Carnistir Moryofinwe, reputed the most temperamental of Feanaro's sons (and that is saying a lot), is out on the sparring grounds.

His beloved lies in a safe place, her body frozen until the temperature allows him to make her a mound worthy of her. In truth, he hasn't returned to that place where he's left her.

Too much pain, too soon.

He's tried to offer his father comfort, but they ever got on very well, and the wondersmith's moods are darker than they ever were.

And for cause.

Two brothers gone, a nephew missing, and found dead shortly thereafter, and Elua, Elua, his mother. Nerdanel, whom they all thought untouchable.

And Faraday, his personal heaven.

Ah, but this is a suffering elf we have here, and so he does what he does best to stave off the pain: he kills. Hunting wasn't enough - and it reminds him of Celegorm, which in turn just makes it worse. He's taken it out on frozen trees, too.

He's stalked around the Mansion, hoping for a challenge. Later, he may be off to the cliffs, to taunt the Enemy.

[OOC: Because when we are angry, that is what we do, apparently. We never said Finweans were beacons of wisdom, blondes excepted.

He can be approached at any time. The gate will remain shut, unless I have a sudden feat of inspiration. Approach at your own risk, this is a very very pissy elf. Dangerously so. And bear with me, I suck at writing combat.]
