[Open post] All But Thesis...
Paul isn't an idiot, nor is he blind. He can see, with all that came to pass, that the past weeks have taken their toll on those at the Mansion.
He has yet to find his friend and ex-lover Paulinka, and has been worried for her safety. Yet, he needs to move on, to keep striving. His dissertation is finished, and though he knows he will never graduate from Harvard as he was meant to, he would like, still, to select a makeshift jury. He doesn't want to remain ABD. Not when the bloody thing is written.
And well.
There is the Open University to think of. (And Zillah and Muraki to speak to - though he may be mildly hoping to see Cathy. Finally, finally, he'll have time. Time for what? He's not thinking of that just yet.)
And so on the billboard, there will be a note.
Academics needed
Anyone with a PhD, university credentials or other relevant experience
in the discipline of history, particularly of commercial 18th century
Holland, would be welcome to contact Paul [Redacted].
