[Open Post] "Surely some revelation is at hand"
Twilight Sparkle's discussion of religion with Angelique has gotten her curious about religion: they don't really have religion in Equestria, and so she's been reading everything she can get her hooves on about God and religion. She's read about Christianity and Judaism and Islam. And some odd thing called Mormonism. She started reading some books on mythology, but that just got all confusing. So many gods and goddesses...
But then she finds several books about something called the Mayan calender, some entity called Quezecoatl, who was supposed to return at the end of something called the Long Count. And a lot of other strange theories about planets coming into line and magnetic poles reversing, and a world coming to an end. And she can't help thinking of the prophesy of the return of Nightmare Moon, in her own world, and how ponies didn't believe her till it came true...
Finding an almanac and figuring out how human calenders work (since this is a human's house), she can't help wonder if it's all true. She'll be found in the library, surrounded by books lying open on the floor, chin on hoof, looking puzzled and concerned...
