Dawn.
The rising sun stretches golden, warm rays over the graceful curves and dips of the snow drifts on the lawn of the Mansion, clinging to the tree branches and eaves of the roof. It snowed afresh last night, and the only marks currently breaking the canvas are the random, scarce tracks of birds and squirrels foraging in the crisp early morning. It's going to be a beautiful day, clear and sunny, but still cool enough to keep the ammunition right where it is until it's ready to be harvested and utilized.
That's right: ammunition. It's a beautiful day for war.
The word has been circulated to the dedicated teams by their captains, the field is set, the game has begun. Victory to the last team standing.
[OOC: Okay, so, welcome to the actual snow war post! See the original challenge
here and the sign up post with teams
here; the only solid rule is that the only weapons to be used in the war are snowballs or non-lethal variations thereof. Everything else is free game! Treat this as a massive mingler: Dean and Hisoka have alerted their respective teams to be on their collective guards and the team captains themselves will be popping in and out throughout the day, all over the grounds, both inside and outside of the Mansion (player time and energy constraints allowing)! Incidentally, this means if two characters are involved in a thread that you'd rather not have a team captain bailing their teammate out of randomly, mark it clearly so we know to stay away. Characters who did not sign up are still welcome to join, just grab some snow and start lobbing, and any bystanders who happen by may become involved whether they meant to or not. Good luck and have fun! V. srs bsnz title from
here. ;) ]
