Titus has been off riding the white horse that he's appropriated since his arrival, but he's come back to the house, ready for a mug of warm cider or some fresh bread. But he's easily distracted by the sight of Iphi, wrassling with some knitting: he has vague memories of Keda knitting, humming songs to him as she did so, or of Nannie Flagg muttering as she knits.
"That looks like a challenge," he says, sympathetically.
"I have been well, though rather busy due to studying my lines for a play to be performed," he replies. "And how have you been?" he asks, approaching and reaching to take her hand, if she'll let him.
"Yes, it has been somewhat of a challenge, to learn all the lines. I am not playing the lead, but mine is a key figure in the drama, and thus there has been much to learn," he replies. He'll lean down to let her kiss him, a smile crossing his face.
He smiles at this. "I would be honored if you did attend: it will be my first acting role ever, and while I am nervous at the prospects, I very much looking forward to it," he says.
"Your faith is appreciated," he replies, and glances out over the lawn. "It is a fine day and days like this will soon be scarce. Shall we take a walk through the gardens?" he asks.
He smiles, then offers her the crook of one arm. Once she takes it, he'll lead the way down to the side garden, through the aisles of yew bushes, into an enclosed garden with a bench in an alcove, the plants in the flower beds already fading, going into dormancy...
"It is a garden going to sleep, but even in sleep, it is beautiful," he says, guiding her to a bench, and typist willing, helping her to sit down on it.
"That looks like a challenge," he says, sympathetically.

"Titus!" she exclaims. "How have you been?"
