Seriously? Are we allowing racism right in newspaper headlines? But then again, this is the Post, which PhotoShopped the faces of the two chairmen of the Iraq study group onto the bodies of monkeys.
Can't we talk about what a given candidates stance is on the issues are instead of their physical attributes? The fact that they'd be the first Hispanic, woman, black, brown, divorced, single, gay, etc. should be incidental, not the fricking headline. It really drove me crazy that every article about Dennis Kucinich included his height. Guess what? I can tell Barak Obama is black. I have eyes, you know. What I don't know is his stance on health care. I don't care if you're an oompa loompa, if I agree with your stance on the issues.
Point being, I don't know much about Bill Richardson. It would have been nice if this article could have told me something about him. Anything.
