shapeshifter part 1
There was a creature curled up in the corner of the living room in Hey Say Jump's dormitory. It's head was hidden beneath its paws, and as of now Yamada Ryosuke was attempting to coax it out of the dark corner. Nobody noticed that Yabu Kota was not among them.
Finally it lifted its head off the ground, and everybody backed away in shock. How on earth had a wolf managed to enter their dorm? The wolf watched them warily, backing away into the wall as much as possible. It didn't make so much as a bark.
Ryosuke stepped forward cautiously once more and stretched out a hand with a couple of blackberries.
"We're not going to hurt you. It's safe here."
The wolf sniffed at his hand, and licked at the berries tentatively, it's soft grey eyes watching them. It finally decided that the berries were safe, and ate them in one mouthful.
It blinked at Ryosuke, before licking his hand again in thanks. It turned its gaze on the rest of the members who had crowded around, and let out a soft bark.
"Ko-chan? You're Ko-chan, right?" Everyone stared at Hikaru before turning to the wolf beside Ryosuke. A wolffish grin was stretched widely on the wolf's face, and it let loose a few more barks, it's lush tail swishing in its excitement.
Murmurs broke out among the members, and they all knelt beside the wolf, staring into its eyes for confirmation. The soft grey eyes stared back calmly, with a hint of faint amusement and gentle affection behind the grey orbs.
"My God, it's really Ko-chan. It's really you." Kei lifted a hand and stroked the pure white pelt, smoothing the fur back gently, in awe at the magnificent hunter before him.
Kota purred at the affection he was being smothered with from his fellow members. The hands on his back felt wonderfully warm and comforting, and he yawned lazily before lowering himself in the floor and drifting off.
