So close now to the end of school for the year!
I am looking forward to having some free time. I have been wanting to go up to Gainesville. I miss living in a larger 'city' area. Although I work in a small city it is not the same as actually living in/near stores and excitement.
It is comfortable to live here at home with my parents but I am always yearning for my own place. I am happy here and so many things are great (like having Mom cook meals many nights of the week) but it feels like it easily can become unhealthy. I don't think staying here for a long period of time is healthy for my own personal growth.
I started reading The Host but I am only a few pages in... Ahh, when I get a chance I am going to get the new Julia Quinn romance novel. I cannot pinpoint exactly why, but I like Julia Quinn's writing. She's my current favorite romance author. She writes a lot of feminist Regency romances. She also tends to have characters who fall in love multiple times over a life span and have to deal with death. It doesn't hurt that she's probably one of the youngest bestselling romance authors out there...
Lol, plus she added me as a friend on Facebook (yes, it appears to actually be her as she's an online-a-holic) since I have most of her books on my book list plug-in.

My aunts (mom's sisters) are visiting for the week. Tonight they made a delicious lasagna (I totally had to look up how to spell that!). I don't even like lasagna but it was that good.
Kelsey came down for a visit over this past weekend. We went out to see the Sex and the City movie. It was okay but definitely a fan-service kind of movie - fantasy-fulfilling and bringing us back to that world of high fashion and excitement. I enjoyed it although I felt it was very toned down from the original HBO show... (Believe it or not...)
Hilarious old lady remarks to her friend in the theater during a sex scene: "Well... it is called Sex and the City..."
What movie did they think they were going to see?
After the movie we used a gift certificate I had to have a nice dinner at Outback...
Ah, and took a goofy mall photo booth film strip. ;)
