Birthday Gift to Myself (one of many it seems)
I got my order from YesAsia today-- my Utada Hikaru albums Deep River and Ultra Blue (the new one)... along with the free mini Sailor Moon magnet (it's Sailor Luna- I didn't even know she existed, haha). ;)
Dang, the Ultra Blue cd case is hardcore!! I've never owned a Japanese cd before so I don't know if they are all like this... but it really deserves a "DANG". The plastic is heavy and thick (more like a double cd case) and the cd booklet is made of paper coated with extreme laminate. I could probably spill coffee on this thing and not ruin it.
I got the international release version of Deep River since it's cheaper (and has the same tracks as the Japanese release). The case for this one is the usual kind of plastic we get on American cds. The booklet is also laminated. Oddly, it also came with another sheet of the lyrics-- I'm not sure, but I suspect that it might be in some form of Chinese since the cd itself was manufactured in Hong Kong.
