Have I killed the romance in my life?

Am I so focused on getting through school and field ed that I fail to see the romance in everyday life? I honestly can't think of very many specific times we had in college that were romantic, but I felt then that our relationship was very romantic. Odd.

Perhaps I'm too much of a cynic? Do I see only the face ( Read more... )

I think you're just adjusting to living together...you've had a lot of major life changes in fairly rapid succession. Not every couple does the "honeymoon phase" thing where they're nauseatingly attached. We went through a rough patch for about 4 months after we got back from the honeymoon, to the point where I was wondering if we'd made a mistake...but we got through it. It sucks, and it's hard, and there's a lot of readjusting, but I think you guys will figure things out.

I agree, I think you are just adjusting. But also, I noticed a change in myself while I was in graduate school. Not necessarily in the romance area, but I know that I began to see things differently. Although I did get a boyfriend and a diplomma out of the whole grad school thing, so who knows? :-)

I've actually been thinking of a post on the matter, I think you'll enjoy it once my cold medicine wears off long enough for me to write it.

Haha, I'm also not able to stay awake. Huzzah for long days. If I did it then, the post would've read something like this: uiayhgvalrehgfdur. Or whatever happens when your head hits the keyboard. :-)
