HA HA HA HA. They already do, didn't you know?

this was the 2nd bit I wrote while impatiently waiting for Q to get back home from the bridal shower with HULA HOOPS!!!! Seriously, they should be outlawed for all over 14 yrs of age!

This is a rejected bit for Chapter 15's talk between DG and Jeb on his being and ass and all.... Oh? And yeah, Pizza makes his last (for now anyway) reoccurance! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

____________

They needed something to keep Jeb in place while she talked to him. She didn't want him running off or storming out when she told him he was being an ass.

Glitch called her name just then and DG had a flash of brilliance and then bent over, laughing until tears fell at the image in her head. Jeb in the Pizza the Hutt gown! It was too good not to make true.

So they planed and arranged for Telly to trick Jeb into meeting her in the room with "The Gown" as she dubbed it and DG was there waiting.

"Princess? What are you doing here?" Jeb asked confused as he entered the room Telly had told him to meet her in.

"We need to have a little talk, Jeb." Then DG smiled and Jeb took a step back. "And I wanted to make sure you stayed to listen to what I have to say." With that she raised a hand and the giant mound of fabric Jeb hadn't paid attention too moved. Suddenly he was wearing the fabric. "Hang out in the Pizza the Hutt dress, as I've taken to calling it, Captain."

DG was surprised when Cain fell asleep on the car ride to Central City. She expected him to be super alert and checking everything, even though he was in a armored car, surrounded by men he had picked. But, then again, she'd barely slept and she knew he had less than her 2 hours, so she was more surprised that she was still awake to see him fall asleep!

DG took her cue from Cain then and slept, knowing Raw was probably best off if they were sleeping so the emotions were less for him to block.

Cain hadn't planned on falling asleep - he had to keep an eye out for anything unusual. But his body went against him and he fell asleep shortly after the car set off.

He was back in the old homestead... but it was different. it was fixed up from the neglect, but things were in different places than Adora always kept them.

Then he heard it. A baby's cry. And then another. And another. Soon it was a symphony of crying and screaming.

'What the hell? Where are these babies? Who did the babies belong to?!' he wondered and got up to search.

The first room was a bedroom, but no babies.

The next room was a washroom, but there were diapers hanging up all over the room.

It was the last room - DG would tell him it was always the last room at the end of the dark hall.

The crying was getting louder - there were some screams in there too. Cain slowly opened the door, wishing he had his gun.

Maybe the witch.... He squelched that thought. DG killed the witch.

The squeak the door made seemed to only make the crying and screaming louder.

He had an image of something from his Tin Man days before his eyes adjusted to the low light.

There were numerous cradles with crying babies in all of them.

And then he heard a familiar voice. "Dad! You're early! I have great news! Telly had octuplets! You're a grandfather eight times over!"

"Noooooooooooo! I'm too young! You're too young!!" Cain screamed, waking everyone in the car up.

DG rubbed her eyes. "What the hell Cain? What do you mean too young?" She looked at him through sleep blurred eyes and saw the terror still in his eyes. Maybe it was the empathy, DG would never know. "Oh my god! You had a nightmare about grandchildren! About Telly and Jeb's babies!!" She couldn't stop the laughter, even at his glare and growl.

Obviously, this priceless bit o awesome is not actually a rejected bit given you have yet to write Chapter 18, but it sure was crack fun to write!

Sadly, this bit 'o crack is the end for me cause I need to get ready for bed and decide what I am wearing tomorrow. No heels :( given the state of my still slightly swollen ankle and not happy knee.

We hope you have enjoyed this crack fun... at least as much as we have enjoyed the plotting.
